Associate Consultant – Business Transformation
SCAYBiz Services is seeking a driven and analytical Associate Consultant to join our Business Transformation & Growth practice in Nairobi. In this role, you will work directly alongside business owners, founders, and management teams to map core operational workflows, identify performance bottlenecks, and implement practical systems that build sustainable internal capability.
Responsibilities

Working alongside client leadership to map end-to-end operational workflows and diagnose execution bottlenecks.

Co-designing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), role clarity guides, and delegation frameworks (RACI matrices) tailored to client operations.

Gathering financial and operational data to help build performance tracking dashboards and KPI scorecards.

Supporting on-the-ground implementation, conducting staff training, and participating in workflow rollout reviews.

Conducting sector-specific research and drafting structured client reports, presentation decks, and project updates.

Liaising with client project teams to track execution timelines, action items, and milestone deliverables.
Skills/Experience

1–3 years of experience in business analysis, management consulting, corporate strategy, or operational support.

Strong analytical skills with a practical ability to interpret operational data and basic financial records.

Great interpersonal communication skills for working collaboratively with both founders and front-line staff.

Proficiency in process mapping and presentation tools (MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and workflow software).

A keen eye for spotting process inefficiencies and operational leakages.

High personal accountability, strong work ethic, and a hands-on, problem-solving attitude.

Familiarity with the East African SME sector (e.g., hospitality, retail, distribution, or professional services) is a plus.
